Daily Visitation
We are currently open Tuesdays through Sundays, from 8 am - 8 pm. Last admission is 30 minutes before closing.

Members may enter the Garden without a reservation. Visitors using admit one passes to enter the Garden do not need to make a reservation - please remember to fill out the requested information on the back of the guest pass prior to your arrival.

Public visitation will be on a limited basis and we recommend pre-purchasing tickets. Please be aware that the Garden could be at capacity if you arrive without a ticket.

We are open with updated measures in place to ensure the safety of visitors and staff, including limited visitation, touchless ticket sales, increased sanitization and physical distancing policies, among others.

We ask all visitors to follow social-distancing policies, including the wearing of masks for everyone over the age of 2, avoiding contact with other guests and staff, exiting at the proper times and following other safety guidelines that are in place.  As of May 7, 2021, following CDC and LA Co. Dept of Public Health guidelines, fully vaccinated guests may enjoy the Garden mask-free provided that all others in their party are fully vaccinated. Masks are still required when approaching other guests and Garden staff.

Our open days, times and policies are subject to change. California Botanic Garden will follow County and State guidelines as we work together to ensure the safety of garden visitors, staff and our larger community.

COVID-19 Risk
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present; we cannot guarantee you will not be exposed during your visit. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Center for Disease Control, older adults and guests of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. Guests should evaluate their risk in determining whether to visit. By visiting CalBG, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
