Running is usually not allowed in the Garden, but we’re making an exception! Join CalBG staff for a monthly group running meetup on the Communities Loop Trail. We’ll meet at the Outdoor Classroom to stretch and warm up before heading out for a run through the different plant communities of California. All levels and paces are welcome, rain or shine (barring extreme weather conditions).

Interested in getting in your cardio but not sure you want to run or jog the whole time? Come at the same time as Run for Fun and join us for a Walk and Talk! Walk at a pace that's comfortable for you and meet other Garden lovers.

The Run for Fun Monthly Meet Up group is free with garden admission. We welcome walk-ins, but you can help us plan by RSVPing ahead of time. If you need to purchase a garden admission ticket, click here.

Run for Fun start time will change throughout the year, so please check each month's web page before attending.
Running at CalBG is only allowed on the Communities Loop Trail while participating in the Run for Fun Meetup. Please do not run to or from the Meetup location or while otherwise enjoying the Garden.
