Join us for a four-part, weekly sketching class held amidst the serene beauty of the botanic garden! In this course, we'll explore the art of quick sketching using pen, focusing on techniques to swiftly capture the essence of nature's fleeting moments. Whether you're a seasoned artist or a beginner, this class offers a creative and relaxing environment to hone your skills and immerse yourself in the wonders of botanical art. Guided by instructor, Aleta Jacobson, you'll learn:

1. Pen Sketching Basics: Understand the fundamentals of pen sketching, including line weight, shading, and perspective.

2. Quick Sketching Techniques: Discover methods to sketch swiftly and confidently, perfect for capturing the dynamic scenes of the botanical gardens.

Aleta Jacobson is a working artist, instructor, and designer who specializes in creating powerful collage, mixed media, watercolors, and acrylic paintings using a variety of tools and materials.
