Aleta Jacobson is a working artist, instructor, and designer who specializes in creating powerful collage, mixed media, watercolors, and acrylic paintings using a variety of tools and materials. A Note About Materials: You will need to purchase and bring your own materials for this class. Below you will find a list of suggested art materials. Feel free to contact registrar@calbg.org with any questions that you have. Please let us know if you have trouble acquiring anything.

Required Supplies for Moody Watercolor on June 15, 2024

  • Watercolor Paper: Cold press any sizes you’d like. 5”x7” is a good size to practice on. Then some larger ones to do some final paintings on. Square sizes are always fun (6”x6” or 8”x8”).
  • Brushes: Round sizes 4, 6, and 8
  • Paints: It is very important to have these colors. You can buy a more reasonable priced brand, but make sure that you have these colors.

    • Daniel Smith Perylnen green
    • Daniel Smith Quinacridone Magenta
    • Daniel Smith Hansa Yellow Medium
    • Daniel Smith Imperial Purple
    • Daniel Smith Quinacridone Gold Deep
    • Daniel Smith Raw Sienna
    • Daniel Smith Phthalo Turquoise
    • Daniel Smith Raw Umber
      • Optional: Daniel Smith Bordeaux, Daniel Smith Manganese Blue, Daniel Smith Raw Sienna, Indian Ink
