Ink In The Garden

Class Description:
Step into the garden and let it inspire you. In this class we'll use ink and watercolor, a timeless combination that brings nature to life on the page.

With your instructor, you'll learn the fundamentals of both mediums while sketching wildlife. We'll start with graceful branches, leaves, and flowers, then move on to a woolly bluecurls branch, a hummingbird, and the delicate shimmer of a dragonfly. Simple subjects, beautifully rendered. No experience needed and no anatomy lessons here. This class is relaxed, approachable, and fun. You'll leave with four finished sketches and a new appreciation for the world right outside your door.

Important Note About Materials:
All supplies needed will be provided for you. However, if you have beloved tools or materials of your own, you are always welcome to bring them along — more options only means more creative possibilities! We will be using watercolor paper, micron pens, watercolor paint, and pencils.
