The winter season looks a little different this year at California Botanic Garden. Owing to the pandemic, we cannot host our beloved annual Luminaria Nights.
But we don’t want to brrrst your bubble! You can still join us for a winter walk in the Garden!
In addition to our normal opening hours from 8 AM - 5 PM, we will be open for extended Winter Stroll hours on Friday, December 18 through Sunday, December 20 from 5 PM - 8 PM. The Garden’s string lights will illuminate your stroll when it gets dark and luminarias will guide your path to the Mesa loop. Faux snow and live ambient music will enhance the feeling of winter and the beauty of each evening. Owing to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Garden is unable to serve drinks or food.
Visitors who want to enjoy the extended hours on December 18 through December 20 need to purchase Winter Stroll tickets for the 5 PM - 8 PM time slot. Regular daily admission tickets do not give visitors access to the extended hours. Last admission is at 7:30 PM, one half hour prior to closing. Tickets are limited to your household size. As usual, members are admitted free of charge and do not need to make a reservation.
Bundle up, bring your flashlights, and prepare to be enchanted as you walk the Garden under our twinkling lights.
Please remember NOT to share air with anyone outside of your household: wear a mask, maintain social distancing, and keep strolling!
