Family Bird Festival 2024

Fly, hop, waddle or soar to the Garden for the Family Bird Festival. Enjoy a day outdoors with hands-on experiences and educational opportunities for young beginners and bird enthusiasts alike, presented in partnership with Pomona Valley Audubon Society. Highlights include fun bird crafts, an immersive migration game, and booths from our friends at the International Bird RescueFriends of California Condors Wild and Free, San Dimas Canyon Nature Center, Alf Museum of Paleontology, CalPoly Pomona Urban Wildlife Lab, Wild Birds Unlimited, and more! Grab a treat, stay for lunch, and get involved with some community science at the Great Backyard Bird Count stations scattered throughout the Garden.

12:30 PM: Wildlife Gardening for Birds with Laura Christianson

1 PM: Story Time with Mahima Dixit

2 PM: Wildlife Gardening for Birds with Laura Christianson

Featured food trucks: LA Donut Truck and 5Elementos Mexican Food.

This event is Free with General Admission to the Garden.

$10 Adult | $6 Student w/ ID and Senior (65+)| $4 Child (Ages 3-12)

IMPORTANT PARKING NOTE:

Parking in the CalBG main parking lot is limited. Do not park in the lot for Claremont Collegiate Apartments. Please follow signs for additional parking, available on North College Ave., in the lots around the former Claremont School of Theology apartments, and along the south side of the former Claremont School of Theology.
